Christmas is the most magical time of the year and at Penally Abbey we celebrate all that makes it so. With roaring log fires, real Christmas trees twinkling in every corner and squishy armchairs looking out over wild seas...
Whether you're looking for an intimate dinner with work colleagues, Festive Afternoon Tea by the fire with friends or to stay in one of our beautiful bedrooms, all the festivities at Penally are cosy, sparkly and filled with delicious food!

Christmas 2023
NOVEMBER
18th November | Festive Afternoon Teas served every day until New Year's Eve from 1.30 pm - 3.30 pm
We are also open every afternoon from the 18th of November from 2 p.m. for mulled wine and mince pies.
DECEMBER
24th | Open for dinner only from 6.00 p.m. (small amount of tables available for guests not staying at the hotel).
25th | Christmas lunch only (hotel guests only).
26th | Open for dinner only from 6 p.m. (small amount of tables available for guests not staying at the hotel).
27th - 30th | Open for festive afternoon tea from 1.30 p.m. to 3.30 p.m. and dinner from 6 p.m. every day.
31st | Our special NYE Jazz evening with a fabulous 6-course tasting menu.
New Year's Eve
JANUARY
1st January | Open for drinks and dinner only.
Festive Afternoon Tea
From Saturday 18th November we will be serving our famous Festive Afternoon Tea every day from 1.30 p.m until 3.30 p.m. Think mulled wine, mince pies, crackers, turkey sandwiches and delicious Christmas twists on the classics! It's the perfect way to ease yourself into the festive season and booking is essential.

Christmas Dinner Parties
Hosting twinkly dinner parties over the Christmas season is one of our favourite parts of Christmas at Penally Abbey. The Courtyard will be decorated with an enormous Christmas Tree and can seat up to 20 people. It is the perfect backdrop for a Christmas work get-together, a celebration with friends or a family gathering.

Festive Wreath Making with Annabel
The wonderful Annabel will be returning to Penally Abbey to host her wreath-making workshop in the Courtyard.
